This was my first full year back playing games in a big way. Games have always been something I go in and out of. After taking a break of several years from serious gaming, during which I bought a Switch and played a grand total of two games on it, something flipped a switch (pun not intended) for me in September of 2023, and for the first time since I was in elementary school, video games became my main hobby again.
